Getting It Right With Enterprise Search

Despite all of the advances in technology, we still seem to struggle when it comes to Enterprise Search.  When searching for information we either get too much or too little and/or seemingly have to go through a myriad of unnatural acts to find what we’re looking for.  What’s more is that this problem is only getting worse as the information tidal-wave sweeps over organizations. So what’s the solution to this conundrum?  To get the answer, I stepped into Jeroen Van Rotterdam’s (EMC CTO of IIG) “Crazy Content Lab” to get the secret formula and understand the requirements in more detail.

As this is a huge topic, this is the first video of a series covering the architectural elements of Enterprise Search. During this journey Jeroen will do his best to turn me into a true “Information Scientist” not only for Search,  but other information management technologies as well.  We hope you enjoy this light-hearted but informative discussion.  And as always, I would love to hear what you think.
